Update; Groundhog day

  •       We haven’t seen any groundhogs to-day and don’t expect to. This, our only native marmot, is now very rare; we have seen some signs of them around the farm but actual sightings are extremely rare anymore. In our area the disappearance of the once abundant groundhog roughly co-incided  with more frequent sightings of coyotes. Coyotes are quite common and woodchucks are gone.
  •    Our weather has been up and down for most of the winter, sunday seen a lot of snow, monday seen it start to disappear and by wednesday it was pretty much all gone. I will try to post some photos tomorrow.
Lauren says she misses Gabriel, so do we.
