Horses resting

Ready for resevoir

Workers leveling site

The haying photos were taken june 26 at our neighbours field and the hay was drawn with the horses three bales a load back to our barn about a mile and a bit away. That is our neighbours Farmall H tractor circa 1950 and still doing a good job. There are always hawks in that field frequently sitting and watching (like hawks) perched atop a bale. The dog and sheep, the horses ‘neath the trees and the garden work gang photos were all taken early June and though it was dry then there was still a lot of moisture in the ground and things were green and looking quite fresh. What a difference to-day. Me was watering transplants in the trays fresh out of the greenhouse in mid-June.         The cucumbers were photoed on tuesday just after watering with the soaker hose and they are looking pretty good. The excavation for the site of our swimming pool come water resevoir was done over the last two days entirely with hand tools. Hopefully we’ll get it filled soon and it will work well.
